Singing Master Class with Marc Kudisch
Advanced/intermediate singers age 15 and above are invited to join us for a singing master class led by Broadway star Marc Kudisch. Currently in town for the brand new musical event Baritones UnBound, Mr. Kudisch garnered critical acclaim as well as his third Tony and fourth Drama Desk Award nominations in his most recent Broadway stint creating the role of Franklin Hart in the Dolly Parton Broadway musical 9 to 5. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to workshop with one of Broadway’s leading men!
Class is limited to 8 participants but open to observers. Participants are asked to bring sheet music for any pieces they would like to work in the class. Piano accompaniment will be provided.
Following the class, participants will enjoy refreshments from Back Deck Restaurant and be able to take a tour of the Paramount Center and get a behind-the-scenes peek of the brand new musical event, Baritones UnBound: Celebrating the UnCommon Voice of the Common Man, which runs October 8-20 at ArtsEmerson on the Paramount Center Mainstage.
This class is presented as part of ArtWeek Boston. ArtWeek Boston, loosely based on Restaurant Week, is a collection of curated events/experiences throughout the city that highlights the quality and diversity of arts, culture, and entertainment in Boston.
