[Boston, MA – Thursday, May 22, 2025] – ArtsEmerson, Boston’s leading presenter of contemporary world theater and film, and the professional presenting and producing organization of Emerson College, is thrilled to announce its 2025/26 Season, featuring nine live stage events in its 15th anniversary year.
The season begins with the return of Pulitzer Prize-finalist Kristina Wong with the Boston premiere of her solo karaoke musical, KRISTINA WONG, #FOODBANKINFLUENCER (Sept 19 – 21), followed by the acclaimed Manual Cinema’s latest work THE 4TH WITCH (Oct 30 – Nov 09). In November, ArtsEmerson presents SPACEBRIDGE (Nov 21 – 23), a collaborative project featuring Russian refugee children and American youth.
The new year kicks off with the high-flying circus of NOLI TIMERE (Jan 22 – 25) from Canada’s Cas Public and the U.S. premiere of Norway’s DEAD AS A DODO (Feb 06 – 08), a darkly comedic exploration of extinction. February continues with Ahamefule J. Oluo’s THE THINGS AROUND US (Feb 20 – 22), a blend of music and storytelling.
In the spring, ArtsEmerson co-presents Mfoniso Udofia’s IN OLD AGE (Mar 12 – Apr 05) with The Front Porch Arts Collective, followed by the world premiere of THE SECRET SHARER (Mar 25 – Apr 05), a multi-sensory adaptation of Joseph Conrad’s novella. The season concludes with HANG TIME (May 14 – 17), a powerful meditation on Black masculinity.
“For 15 years, ArtsEmerson has been a home for stories that challenge, inspire, and connect us,” says Ronee Penoi, Interim Executive Director of the Office of the Arts at Emerson College. “This anniversary season celebrates the global and local connections that define our community, bringing world-class artistry to the heart of Boston.”
