  • Green Line Stop: Boylston Street
  • Orange Line Stop: Chinatown, Downtown Crossing
  • Red Line Stop: Park Street Station, Downtown Crossing

By Car From the North
  • I-93 South to EXIT 16A (old Exit 20A) towards South Station onto Purchase Street
  • Continue along Purchase Street which becomes Surface Artery to Kneeland Street
  • RIGHT onto Kneeland Street
  • RIGHT onto Washington Street (Tufts Medical Center will be on your left)
  • Arrive at 559 Washington Street!
By Car From the South
  • I-93 North to EXIT 16 (old Exit 20) to South Station
  • BEAR LEFT off exit ramp, following signs for South Station
  • Go through a couple sets of lights, STAY TO THE RIGHT at the split (still following signs for South Station), and keep going until the next light
  • RIGHT onto Kneeland Street
  • RIGHT onto Washington Street (New England Medical Center will be on your left)
  • Arrive at 559 Washington Street!
From the Mass Pike
  • EXIT 133 (old Exit 22) to Copley Square
  • LEFT at the first light, onto Dartmouth Street
  • RIGHT at the second light, onto Boylston Street
  • Stay to right of divider and pass Public Garden and Boston Common on your left
  • One block past Boston Common, turn LEFT onto Washington Street
  • Arrive at 559 Washington Street!

ArtsEmerson patrons receive a discounted flat rate of $14.75 for up to 12 hours of parking. When you get to the theatre, simply request a parking voucher sticker from the Box Office or Guest Experience usher staff. Use the voucher when leaving the parking facility to receive your discounted rate.

Parking Validation is only available for events listed on this website, artsemerson.org, and does not apply to other events occurring in the Emerson Paramount Center and Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre. If you have any questions about parking validation, please contact the Box Office.

Garage & Street Parking

Street parking is very limited in the Theatre District. Parking is not permitted on Washington Street or Tremont Street in front of the theatre at any time.

Vehicles displaying a valid ADA placard can find accessible parking spaces directly around the corner from the Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre on Stuart Street in front of Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery. LAZ Parking is also designed to accommodate accessibility needs; details listed above.
