In this public discussion, ArtsEmerson hosted three members of Culture Clash (Richard Montoya, Ric Salinas and Herbert Siguenza) and Double Edge artists Stacy Klein, Carlos Uriona and Matthew Glassman as they reflected on some of the questions that the two companies share.

 

How is the work done by both companies rooted in the idea of “creative responses” to injustice/destruction? How does the work grow out of the communities in which artists live and work? How is that work in service of those communities? These topics and more are all covered in this hour long discussion.
