We met with the cast after the performance and they are very impressive people. This was a rare and very welcome theater experience

  2. in a world that does not think critically enough about categorizing, labeling and segregating human beings, this show is so needed! A challenge to all viewers.

Terrific opportunity to hear directly from players whose lived experience highlights the disregard many folks with intellectual or cognitive disabilities face everyday. Institutionalization, sterilization, experimentation, immobilization – these traumas are not ancient history, but potent reminders that these folx, our brethren, our vulnerable to insidious behaviors.
This all being said- the pace and the tone of the performance is not alarming nor strident. There is time to reflect on what the actors are saying. All and all a thought provoking show!
