Happy “Daniel Beaty Day” in Boston!

Tonight, Atiya Martin, Boston’s Chief Resilience Officer will present the proclamation of “Daniel Beaty Day” to Mr. Beaty prior to tonight’s performance of Mr. Joy in Dorchester.

From the proclamation: “To celebrate Daniel Beaty’s contributions to the arts and the city of Boston, through his plays (including Mr. Joy), films, books, and his I DREAM: BOSTON social justice work with youth at Boston Public Schools—specifically Snowden International High School and Boston Arts Academy.” Learn more about the I Dream project.
