We Won’t Be Shut Down
Our current production of Manual Cinema’s The End of TV touches on the story of economic hardship, as Louise loses her job at an a midwestern factory. Though the loss is catastrophic, it is the catalyst to her budding friendship with Flo, an elderly woman Louise meets when she becomes a Meals on Wheels driver. This story of hope, perseverance and change shows the true human connection amid not only the static, but unexpected life circumstances. As the Government Shutdown continues into well into 2019, thousands of federal workers have gone without pay. We at ArtsEmerson stand with those affected by the longest shutdown in United States history and are offering free tickets to the federal employees in our community.
In the spirit of Louise and The End of TV, we are offering two free tickets to all federal employees for the remaining performances of The End Of TV (NOW-JAN 27). Tickets can be claimed at the Emerson Paramount Center Box Office starting two hours prior to each performance with presentation of your federal employee ID.
