ArtsAdvocacy Day at ArtsEmerson

On March 26, 2019, the creative community will come together for Creativity Connects: MASSCreative Arts Advocacy Day to show our state political leaders that arts and creativity should be an expected, recognized, and valued part of everyday life.

The day will begin at the Emerson Paramount Center, with ArtsEmerson’s Executive Director, David C. Howse, moderating a panel of arts advocates, including Emerson College President Lee Pelton, Executive Director of MASSCreative Matt Wilson, Executive Director of Mass Cultural Council Anita Walker and Senator Edward Kennedy (D-Lowell).

There will be a series of performances from local ensembles, followed by a march to MA State House at 1:00 pm, meeting with legislatures, and advocating for the funding and support of the arts in Massachusetts.
