Don’t Miss Roxbury Rocks 2018 This Weekend!

All of us here at ArtsEmerson are honored to be selected as recipients of a “You Rock” award at this year’s Roxbury Rocks event. The awards will be distributed during the festival, at approximately 2:30PM. More on this fantastic community event below:

Roxbury Community College invites all to attend this year’s Roxbury Rocks! Whether it’s through the music of this year’s exciting line up or one of the many fun activities for kids, the 4th Annual Roxbury Rocks Music Festival will be fun for all ages! We hope to see you 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m, Saturday, July 21, 2018 on the college’s campus.

All are welcome; bring your family and friends!

Roxbury Community College takes great pride in cultivating the Roxbury Rocks Music Festival, which has been a creative cornerstone in the Roxbury area for the past few years. The afternoon will include musical performances from some of the best local artists, free activities for children, free snacks and ice cream, and a few local crafters. The free neighborhood festival will be held 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m on Saturday, July 21, 2018, in Parking Lot #1 (under the solar canopy).

The musical line-up includes:

• Gilberto Rivera
• Sarah Messias
• Jamichael Frazier

Bonne Johnson, producer/host of Colors of Jazz on WICN, 90.5FM, is the mistress of ceremonies for this year’s festival.
