Meet The Hamnets

Live from the Dead Centre Rehearsal room: Hamnet vs. Hamnet, currently tied at 6-6.

In Hamnet, a tour-de-force performance from a young actor confronts what it means—and what it costs—to be great, and how living in the shadow of that greatness can keep one in the dark. During the course of the play, a singular young performer is in complete command of the audience eliciting laughter one moment and deep reflection in the next. The title role was originated by the talented Ollie West and who will soon pass the torch to the wonderful Aran Murphy, a Dublin native who is just ten and a half years old! Both actors will perform the show here in Boston making it one of the most unique and special runs of this production yet.
