What did you think of Monty Python Live (Mostly)?

   The 4 of us laughed so hard that our cheeks began to hurt and the tears rolled down our faces. Just the correct mixture of LIVE, Recorded Archive Footage, and talented chorus of singers & dancers. The pace was appropriate, the editing fairly brilliant in recreating the Monty Python Ambiance. The camera work on the piece could have been more panaramic…………..yes, close ups are enjoyable but the words to some of the songs were not shown. We, the film audience, were at a disadvantage at those times. Returning to full screen/most of the stage could have been more consistent. We were singing the songs even the day after………..and smiling as we thought back to our evening w/ M P…………………..Long Live Comedy !

   What a FUN nite – laughing with the Monty Gang – (even with the AC down – the audience remained in the theatre) it was a show you didnt want to walk out on.

   We were in London (by coincidence) when this was being performed live. Try as we might, we couldn’t get tickets. This was almost as good. Live would have been better, but you can have everything. I have been a fan since forever and this brought back so many happy memories. It was fantastic that skits they obviously knew by heart, they couldn’t finish because thy were laughing so much. Please don’t ever stop!
   Art Emerson, you need to do more of this stuff!
