What an amazing tour de force performance by Denis O’Hare, and the play by O’Hare and Lisa Peterson is moving, provocative, depressing and hopeful all at the same time. This play joins the ranks of anti-war drama dating back to Euripedes.

The Iliad is one of my top beloved stories since 4th grade- and Mr O’Hare & his muse and translator made a magnificent
work of this story. One of the highlights of this year’s out
for the evening times. A really exceptional telling of one of the best stories of the stories of the world. So very glad I attended.
